This immaculate chapel was built in 1875 and is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Macau still accepting new burials.  Known by locals as the Western Ocean Cemetery, many prominent people have been laid to rest here, including Coronel Nicolau de Mesquita, Jose Pedro Braga, Francisco Antonio Volong, Pedro Nolasco da Silva, and Pedro Leong Hing Kee.

The stained glass windows are some of the most beautiful ones in Macau.
