The Maven Meter: Paradise Kampek Casino
(Last updated: August 23, 2023)
PARADISE KAMPEK INTRODUCTION
Formerly known as Kam Pek Arabian Nights, the Paradise Kampek casino is a rare bird for Macau, given that it has no hotel.
A venue for only the most hard up of patrons, it’s mostly just floor after floor of Live Gaming Machines, featuring dirt cheap Baccarat ($20/$50/$100).
PARADISE KAMPEK CASINO GAMES
It’s Baccarat or bust at the Kampek, at least for table games anyway. There’s also $20 Baccarat on the Live Gaming Machines.
Baccarat – $200 minimums.
Slot machines – About 100 slots, with limits between 5 cents and 20 cents. Also has Electronic Sic Bo ($50) and Electronic Roulette ($10).
PARADISE KAMPEK CASINO PROMOTIONS
Yes, even a small casino like Kampek has a dead chip program, where amounts rolled under $1,000,000 return 0.9% while those over return 1.0%.
A second program is also advertised, and is definitely the one to choose.
The wretched Noodle Bar on the ground floor has finally been put out of its misery, leaving only one dining establishment on the third floor.
Long Cuisine – Long Cuisine has scrapped their Western selection and now goes all Chinese. Dumplings run $30 or $33, while various fish options are $40 to $368. A slew of different sets all cost the same thing, just $83.
Long Cuisine stays open for 24 hours.
The Kampek bar on the third floor is actually pretty good. Like the Whisky Bar at Starworld, some tables are outside so you can soak up all the greatness of the Amizade Strip.
Before Covid, they used to have a slew of specials which included:
- Semi Buffet Lunch for $88 (Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
- Ladies Night, Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Drinks are $50 and include one spirit and one mixer, using whisky, vodka, rum, gin and tequila (Saturdays, from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am)
- But 1 Beer Tower get 1 Free (Monday to Wednesday)
- Buy 6 Bottles of Beer for $120 (Daily)
Post Covid, they are all gone, but similar deals might start coming back the deeper we get into 2023.
Drink prices are as follows:

Cognac: $70 to $120 (glass) | $1,000 to $2,600 (bottle)

Bar hours are from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am.
THE LAST WORD
With about 700 Live Gaming machines, Paradise Kampek often feels more like an arcade than a casino. For low limit Baccarat players, it’s not a bad place to be though, particularly if you enjoy gambling in peace and quiet.
PARADISE KAMPEK LOCATION
Connected to the Lisboa via an elevated walkway, Paradise Kampek is sweetly positioned on the Amizade strip. The entrance from the street is in the back right hand side of the building.
