Other Attractions
Here are other attractions that visitors to Macau may find interesting.
Golf
Macau has two golf courses open to the public.Â
Caesar’s Golf Macau: I’m not sure if these prices are up to date or not, but the last I saw it cost $1620 for 18 holes on weekdays and $2120 on weekends. For more info, please phone (853) 2888 0123.Â
Macau Golf and Country Club: Semi private club also allows non members to play. Macau’s nicest golf course charges $2850 on weekdays and $3960 on weekends. Their website is found here: Macau Golf and Country Club.Â
Hac Sa Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail
The Hac Sa Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail is one of Macau’s most underrated attractions, and well worth walking if you’re around Hac Sa Beach without a bicycle.
I didn’t even know it existed until 2018, when I was researching possible ways to swim into Macau incognito, should the need ever arise.
Linking Cheoc Van Beach with Hac Sa Beach, it’s the longest, most extended piece of walkable coastline in Macau, with huge rock formations on one side and pretty views of the sea on the other.Â
The scenery is not unlike hiking around Hong Kong’s Lamma Island, except the Hac Sa Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail is much easier to get to and not as time consuming to traverse.Â
Plan on taking about 25 minutes to get from one side to the other.
Go Karting
Located just south of the Cotai Strip on Estrada Do Istmo opposite the Reservoir, Macau’s Go Kart track is one of the best in Asia. Visitors need a valid driver’s license to race, while the price is 180 MOP per 15 minutes. The track is closed on Mondays. For more information, phone (853) 2888 2126.Â
Macau Jockey Club
Yet another place to lose your money in Macau, the Jockey Club usually stages live races Friday to Sunday.
Located in Taipa across the street from Grandview Hotel, you can find more information here: Macau Jockey Club.
Macau Tower
One of Macau’s most well known landmarks, Macau Tower is 338 metres high and offers great panoramic views of the city. After taking in the skyline, you can do some mind blowing extreme activities from the top of the tower, such as Bungee Jump, Sky Jump or Sky Walk.Â
