teamLab SuperNature

(Last updated: August 26, 2026)

I walked into teamLab SuperNature Macao fully expecting another overpriced, overhyped Cotai Strip special, the kind of “immersive experience” that never really includes you. The type of attraction where the exhibits feel like afterthoughts, and the only thing working hard is the gift shop trying to extract every last pataca from you before the casinos do.

Instead, the Venetian actually stepped up and delivered something I’d happily recommend to both adults and children.

teamLab SuperNature is a permanent “body-immersive” digital art museum tucked inside the Cotai Expo, a massive playground of light, mirrors, colours, and motion. You wander through dark corridors into one surreal room after another, never knowing quite where you are, when you might walk into a wall, or what’s around the next corner.

It could be a galaxy of infinite crystal lights, a field of swirling flowers, schools of digital fish, or even a blinding white mirrored chamber where the whole room flickers and folds in on itself.

For adults, most of the fun is tied to taking photos, especially for couples. But the surprising thing is how enjoyable the experience is even when you’re not posing for anything.

The rooms feel alive – you walk, and things shift. You stand still, and patterns spill around you. I went in ready to roll my eyes and came out thinking, “Alright… that was actually really cool.”

Kids get an even better deal. Instead of being told to stand still and not touch anything, they’re basically unleashed into interactive playgrounds awash in art.

There are slides with projection games, trampoline zones where every jump makes stars explode, and drawing stations where whatever they sketch suddenly appears crawling across the walls.

It’s one of the rare Cotai attractions that appeals to both children and adults, but for completely different reasons.

Tickets cost $288 for adults and $208 for children aged 3 to 12, while children aged two or below enter free. Guests staying at any Sands Resorts Macao hotel receive 30% off.

The Floating Flower Garden is currently included with regular admission. During July and August, visitors can also pay $58 for the EN TEA HOUSE experience, which includes a choice of tea and fragrant Jade green tea ice cream. I recommend doing both.

Two adults should allow around two hours. Families could easily stay for three, depending on whether the children can be persuaded to leave.  As always, weekdays are best, as weekends and holidays naturally bring the crowds and longer photo lines.

A couple of small drawbacks do exist.  The layout can feel like a maze, so expect some backtracking. Some rooms get crowded with people lining up for the ‘perfect shot,’ so patience helps, particularly on weekends. But compared with the usual Cotai formula of throwing up some lights, sticking an iPad in the corner and calling it immersive, teamLab SuperNature is miles ahead. Someone actually had ideas here.

Suffice to say, I walked into teamLab SuperNature expecting less than nothing and left genuinely impressed. Children can run wild, couples can fill their phones, and everyone else can simply wander around wondering what the hell they’ve walked into.

Mark my words, the Cotai Strip could definitely use more attractions like this.  Well done, Venetian!
